Hi everyone, seasons greetings to all of you! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday which is only days away! As for me, I’m thoroughly enjoying being a mum and spending every second with my precious boy hence the lacking of posts. And here is a quick update on what’s happening…
1. After a long time of searching for the perfect new home, my hubby and I have finally found the place. It is located in a beautiful stroller (as well as pet) friendly area and we have just moved in recently. So far I still have lots of boxes to unpack, and styling of the house is not completely done yet. Interior design has always been my hobby so this is the perfect opportunity for me to put my ideas into practice! I would love to show you my new place (including my custom built closet) one day 🙂
2. My boy is 4 months old, and watching him grow and smile at me are the most rewarding and delightful moments in my life now. I have so much admiration for other mothers who choose to stay home to look after their children – it is a much harder job than anything else! I am a very hands-on mum just completely exhausted at the end of the day, and there is no ‘day off’.
3. As a result of lacking of motivation, as well as spending a great amount of time in front the TV to catch up on the Kardashian family businesses lol, my weight is still the same as the previous update and it is very frustrating! So I have enrolled myself into the gym and I’m loving the feeling of working out again (I highly recommend the Elixr health club if you like all sort of pilates and yoga), and hopefully I’ll see some great results soon.

What beauties, the pair of you! I can’t wait to see your completed place — my idea of interior decorating stops shortly after “do not smear poop on the walls”.
Thanks Kate! Lol that’s exactly what my mum said to me when I tried to paint my bedroom last time!
You look beautiful, and your son is soo cute! I have been a huge fan of your blog, and I am glad to hear that you are enjoying pilates and yoga! I practice regularly as well. 🙂 Please do share your interior design ideas, I for one, would love to see them! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!!! <3
Thanks for your kind comment Vicky 🙂 I will definitely post some pictures of my new place when it’s ready.
He is absolutely adorable and you are glowing dear!
Thanks Petrina! I am so exhausted everyday and would love to hear some tips on parenting from you 🙂
Lol my tip is to go out everyday! Swimming, gymbaroo, mothers group, play dates. I’m more social now than ever ( oops I mean Sebbie!).
You and your baby are gorgeous!! Nice to hear from you
Thank you darl! xoxo
Thanks for the updates! Your baby is beyond beautiful!! Thanks for sharing that lovely picture.
I would love to see pictures of your new home and closet. You have such great taste! I’m a big fan of your blog. I’m sure it’s hard to keep up with the blog since you’re a new mom. My hubby and I don’t have kids yet…maybe in the next couple years. So i look forward to any feedback on adjusting to being a new mom and on what i could expect 🙂
Congrats on your new home. How exciting!
Thanks for your kind comment Jeslynj! Being a new mum is really really hard and joyful at the same time. It’s a completely different lifestyle and everything else that used to have priority are on the backburner!
You look gorgeous, and your son is adorable! WOW! Look at that full head of hair! Lucky kid =)
Thanks darl! Yep I think he has my hair 😛
oh, what a sweet post!
Happy Christmas to you too, Rei!
Thanks xoxo
Gorgeous baby boy, and you look absolutely stunning!
I’m a fan of your blog (though I think this is my first post), but I just wanted to congratulate you and your family on the new home, and wishing you a wonderful holiday season! I’m excited to see your future posts!
Thank you Christina! Hopefully I will have more time to blog after my house is done 🙂
I love the sweet pictures of your baby! Staying at home can be exhausting- I hope you are able to get out even to run errands alone sometimes. I coffee and a solo trip to Target makes a world of difference 🙂 Congrats on the new place too!
Lol Martha. What you said wouldn’t make any sense to me if I didn’t have kids, and these days I am happy just to get out of my house and get some fresh air!
🙂 You are a beautiful mom and your son is absolutely adorable! Those chubby arms are making me caaarrrraaazy! Congrats on moving into you new home! Can we get a peek at your updated makeup/vanity area when you get settled?
Thank you dear! I sure will post some pics soon 🙂
You look gorgeous! Both of you! More beautiful than I have ever seen you before. Motherhood has most certainly brought out the best in you 🙂
Aww..thank you dear! I love being a mother 🙂
You have a lovely smile 🙂
Congrats on your new home 🙂
Thank you Selphia!
oh, how time flies! He’s sooo big already. You look gorgeous and the gym is not necessary at all! Or only as some time off to spend on your own!
Thanks darl! I definitely need the gym to keep me motivated!
Hello Reika,
I love your blog and I’m so happy to read your words about motherhood… and about at home-mums (like me !).
You look fantastic as usual 😉 and sound fullfilled with your sweet gorgeous little pea ! Enjoy these precious moments as they go by too quickly !!
Thank you so much for your kind comment 🙂 Its great to be a stay home mum so we will never miss our babies’ first moment!
You look fabulous Reika! My kids are 6 and 4 and I still haven’t gone to the gym even once….
Lol I totally get what you mean – there is just no time for ourselves anymore!
he is adorable.
Reika,
I discover your blog just recently and loving it. Congrats on your new home and the baby. He is very adorable. I live in the US. I was able to go to Sephora near my home last night and played with the new NARS duo blush. I like the color Adoration and Craving.
PS. If there is something you like and cannot get it in Australia, maybe I can help you get it here in the US.
Regards,
Kelly- McLean Virginia
Your baby is absolutely gorgeous. It’s nice to see you smiling so joyfully. Now, onto a girl who will inherit your girly treasures…
Thank you so much Angela! Yes would love to have a girl one day 🙂 but just thinking about it makes me tired…lol
