I am very much into the crop top with flare skirt siluoutte lately. I bought this crop top from Zara a while ago as a motivation to encourage me to lose the post baby weight, and I am so glad I can finally strut it after all the hard work! The tweed flare skirt is from my favorite brand Theory who do the best office-appropriate wear with a fashionable spin to it. Really loving their Fall 2014 collection and this lovely dress is also on the way. (SAKS is having a shop and save event for up to $250 off with code CNTMP14 ). The shades by Thierry Lasry has a lovely translucent taupe frame with marbling detail which is hard to capture in the picture. It is definitely on the higher end of price range for me, but they hand-make the most beautiful translucent gradient over-sized frame and I wanted to take a break from wearing the usual black shades.

I have been searching for a perfect pair of ripped jeans for a long time, and most of them I have seen are in the boyfriend/slouchy style which is not what I am after. When I spotted that Frame Denim does them in the skinny form, I ordered my first pair in blue straight away (bought here, also available on shopbop). The fit of FRAME’s denim is like a dream – the waist is neither too high nor too low, and it fits like a glove and elongates your legs. The material is soft and stretchy, but tight enough to conceal the unflattering bit.. If you are into celebs street wear, you would probably have seen them on countless celebs including Miranda Kerr to the Kardashian sisters.
I have been a total sweater and jeans girl (mama) lately!

I live in peg pants now, and I have it in all different prints. Not only is it trending now and has a menswear-chic look, the utterly flattering low slung and slouchy style also helps to conceal every unflattering bit from the waist down! My favorite has to be the Joie Mariner Pants in the most classic color of black (also comes in navy). It has an elastic waist band with legs that are tapered with a slouchy slim fit. It requires no maintenance as the fabric doesn’t wrinkle which is perfect for the busy mums like me.

In the word of my favorite style icon Victoria Beckham “A good pair of shades complete any outfit”. I too, have a weakness for a pair of stylish shades and have collected many over the years. The Celine Audrey remains my all time favorite style which pretty much suits all face shapes. Found these old OOTD which were taken before I got preggo..oh I miss my old body!! Hi everyone, I just came back from my baby-moon to the beautiful Hamilton Island recently, and that is my exciting news to share although I am still a bit shy about it! Yes I am over 4 months pregnant now and that is why I have been absent from blogging as my focus has been strictly on my ever-expanding belly. I am a first timer so everything about being pregnant is exciting and anxious to me. There are a lot of physical changes that I am still not used to, such as being a few dress sizes bigger now, with a rounder face and feeling swelling everywhere else. I am also having extreme fatigue and nauseous everyday. These things do not sound glamorous at all, but as most mums-to-be would know I could not be happier with where I am now!
These pictures were taken at the magnificent qualia resort at Hamilton Island. The beauty and serenity of this place is breathtaking, and is perfect for a private and indulgent holiday.

I have a soft spot for beautiful dresses. Whether I am shopping online or in-store, it’s always a cute little flowy day dress that catches my attention first. I have tried to cut down the number of dresses I buy each season, but this beautifully-made collared silk dress from Gryphon is a nice addition to my wardrobe. It’s made of 100% silk chiffon, and the sequin collar lends an elegant feel to this airy and boho inspired printed dress.
The Céline Luggage Mini in Lemon is one of the goodies I brought back from Paris. It was a very fruitful trip to Paris as I was able to fight off all these other tourists and acquire some of the highly coveted items including this limited color. I was over the moon when the kind Céline SA sold me this bag from their warehouse as it wasn’t on display!
