I found this amazing skirt by CAMEO at this shop. What can I say, other than it’s just so perfect! The cut is very reminiscent of Proenza Schouler’s signature’s skirts, but at a much affordable price and the quality is superb.

My obsession with leopard and cheetah print has elevated to a higher level – I am wearing a shirt with literally wild prints of cheetahs all over it and I love it! I spotted this quirky shirt from TopShop in Sydney. It is very well made and looks actually quite expensive. The skirt is by Alexander Wang. I have had this skirt for over 2 years now and it is one of the best purchases I ever made! It is so easy to wear and literally goes with everything. You can never go wrong with his basics and this skirt is one of those classic items that I want to have in multiple colors (currently eyeing the burgundy version).

I am determined to add some colorful and playful pieces to my rather basic and neutral wardrobe this season. The Mint Sweater is from JCREW – every single American is raving about JCREW so I finally jumped on the bandwagon since they are offering free international shipping at the moment. I bought some “iconic” JCREW sweaters in different fabrics such as cashmere, merino wool and cotton blend, and hands down cashmere blend is the best. This one in the picture is called Jackie Pullover which is made of cotton. It has a slim fitted silhouette that comes in a rainbow of colors. The skirt and the shoes are new pieces that were featured in my September wishlist.

The denim trend has evolved from bright and pastel solid hues to intricate and flamboyant printed patterns this fall. I found this pair of leopard print Jeans from Zara recently and I believe it was for less than $100! Being quite a Jeans snob, I am surprised how great the fit is. The dark blue hue helps to make the leopard pattern look subtle. To balance the leopard feature, I paired it with an Equipment shirt (which is hands down the best shirt) in a neutral tone for an urban and polished look.

Sales are irresistible! I have become so much better with sales shopping over the past few years as I have come to the realization that 90% of the things I bought during sales were for the reduced price tag rather than what I really loved/needed . BUT there is the 10 percent that I’m absolutely thrilled of the “bargain”! In this case – I fell in love with this beautiful printed dress by DVF as soon as I spotted it. I was going to get it at full price anyway, and it slipped my mind when I was overseas. So I couldn’t be happier when I found out this dress was on sale on shopbop after I returned from my trip! 2 clicks + 3 days later, it is part of my wardrobe now. And as usual, DVF dresses fit like a dream.

Still jet lagging and bang – caught flu as soon as I landed. I am still sniffling as I type, but I really wanted to update my blog so I thought I’ll do a quick aka “filler” post. These pictures were taken before I left for holiday wearing my favorite leather dress of the moment. It has a shift cut with the waist slightly tucked in which is a fool proof silhouette for my body shape. I have countless dresses in the same cut, but the fact that it’s in full leather brings a different vibe to the look.

I have been literally living in this pair of jeans lately. They are by far my favorite Jean’s brand – J Brand. They have been consistently making great jeans that have a very good fit in super luxe fabric. The fit of 901 Legging Jeans is perfect for me – it’s skinny from top to bottom, and it’s stretchy without losing its shape. And it’s not the usual boring plain black denim (though I love them as well), they have a real leather appeal with a soft metallic finish. (not as shiny as on the website, but complex enough to have people wonder). If you have been tossing around the idea of having a pair of leather pants, I highly recommend you to start with this one!
